Our standard regarding effectiveness is conservative...some manufacturers and sellers make optimistic claims about effectiveness (not Austin Air, though). We tend to reduce expectations. It's our job to tell our customers the truth to make sure they get what they need and expect. If you are in doubt and can afford the extra money, it's best to buy a standard-sized air cleaner. More capacity, quieter operation to get the air clean. If you have questions about size requirements, by all means call us and we'll walk you through it.
